Photographs:

I reserve the right to photograph your order before collection / delivery for my own reference, advertising, website and internet promotion etc.

Transporting your cake:

  • When collecting your order please ensure that you transport cake in either the passengers foot well or boot space in a car/taxi.
  • Please be aware that placing your cake on a seat, lap or an uneven surface even for a small journey may affect the stability and internal structure, which could result in irreparable damage.
  • I advice you have a passenger when collecting cupcake bouquets to hold due to them being top-heavy, I can provide a box to place the bouquet in to give it stability .
  • On hot days, it is recommended to travel with the air conditioning on or keeping the windows open to keep the environment relatively cool so the cake does not get too warm.
  • It is recommended that the cake is taken directly to the venue from when you collect it as any lengthy time in a vehicle may cause damage to the cake.
  • If you take it home before taking it the venue then please ensure it is kept in a cool dark place (but not the fridge) away from direct sunlight.
  • When setting up your cake at the venue please make sure it is not placed in direct sunlight, next to a radiator that is on and is consumed within the time suggest (below).
  • Once the cake has left my premises, I am no longer liable for any damage that may be incurred by the customer. If any repairs are required at any point after the cake has left the premises (only if a repair is possible and there is availability for me to fix it) it will be at the cost suggested by myself. This will need to be paid before any repairs can commence. I cannot promise to fix any damage to the cake but I will try my best to help you, should any accidents happen.

If you follow these guidelines above the you should have no problems delivering your cake in perfect condition to your venue.

Complaints:

Complaints are very rare so when they do occur I take them very seriously . Corrections to inscriptions and minor changes when things are wrong can usually be carried out on the same day. You must notify me of the problem within 1 hour of collecting your cake / delivery to your venue (24 hours for wedding orders). Some complaints may need further investigation and an immediate refund may not always be possible, so your patience is appreciated. If the complaint is about the sponge cake or part of cakes, must be returned to me within 24 hours so that I can check and confirm the complaint. Photographs of cake(s) will not be accepted. If the cake has been eaten then I will not be able to confirm your complaint, so please contact me as soon as possible.
